Difference between ICH and SNC

Hi Experts,

I am new to SAP ICH. I would like to know the difference between ICH and SNC. I have to learn and work on SAP ICH for support relevant issues. It would be thankful if anyone can brief on ICH and prerequisites to learn and also let me know where to get the study material and other interfaces required for ICH and ECC

Please help me on this to have a better understading the issues and to give solution effectively and efficiently.
